Fotomagico 3.0 install#
Hi Guys sounds like Mike had a great Christmas playing with VMWare, I actually installed the trial Version of VMWare as I wanted to put XP onto my machine (for various reasons which no need to go into here), all went well and I got XP up and running quite quick actually but, and this just killed me, as soon as I started VMWare up it just swallowed my memory, I have 2 gig ram and it went straight up to 1.7 gig usage, and as soon as I closed VM down the mem usage would drop straight back, yes I had put limits on the mem usage but this didn’t seem to make any difference.Īnyway I’d decided that this was no good so installed boot Camp, and apart from me not thinking what I was doing and trying to install XP onto a Mac formatted partition (I can hear you laughing), funny thing is it did install, it just wouldn’t boot lolz, all has gone great and along with using an app called macdrive, it’s pretty good, this will though strangely enough I think speed up the transition to the Mac for the whole family, as they slowly get fed up of rebooting into windows and not being able to use those beautiful Mac ‘i’apps. FotoMagico is an application for creating and presenting live multimedia slideshows.
